CEO and Strategic Business Development
Concept Development, Inc. is a unique company. We are
unique from the many other companies that develop products
as a service in two major ways: first, we provide our
customers with a firm fixed price proposal and second,
we provide services that are designed to support our
customers over an extended period of the product life
cycle. This has been the uniqueness of our company for
the past 35 years.
Our strategy in offering a fixed price proposal is designed
to demonstrate to our customers that we have the experience
and confidence to analyze the customer’s requirements
and to accurately estimate our internal costs. Yes, we have
had cost overruns on some programs, but in the process, we
have generated a long list of satisfied and repeat customers.
The second leg of our strategy is to provide additional services
that benefit our customers after the product has been developed.
We will manufacture the product in small or large quantities,
over short or extended periods of time, also on fixed price
contracts. We also provide product support and repairs for
years after production has ended.
I am very proud of the fact that we have customer relationships
that are over 20 years old.
