MEDICAL
CDI has been designing elements of medical equipment
since 1984.
Early projects included innovative disk array
designs to support real-time acquisition of X-Ray
images. CDI remains active in this field to this
day.
More recently, CDI has provided design solutions
in the areas of image processing applied to radiography,
image compression (e.g., Wavelet and JPEG), and
DICOM protocol gateways and information security
devices.
